Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled AWS DevOps Engineer to join our team and help design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and resilient cloud infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for automating deployments, managing CI/CD pipelines, optimizing system performance, and ensuring cloud resources follow best practices in reliability, cost, and security. This position is ideal for someone with strong AWS expertise, a deep passion for automation, and proven experience building and maintaining DevOps solutions at scale.
What you’ll be doing
Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS using Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK).
Implement, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, CodePipeline).
Automate deployments, monitoring, and scaling of applications using EKS, ECS, Lambda, and serverless frameworks.
Manage containerized environments with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS preferred).
Monitor and troubleshoot system performance with CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK stack.
Enforce cloud security best practices including IAM, VPC design, encryption, and compliance standards.
Collaborate with developers, architects, and QA teams to enable fast, reliable software delivery.
Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or Cloud Engineer with focus on AWS.
Strong expertise in AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, CloudFront, Route53, IAM).
Hands-on with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS CDK).
Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, CodePipeline).
Solid understanding of Docker, Kubernetes (EKS), and microservices architectures.
Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Go.
Experience with monitoring/logging tools and troubleshooting in production environments.
Nice to Have (Preferred Skills)
AWS Certifications (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect, SysOps).
Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud setups.
Knowledge of service mesh (Istio, Linkerd) or event-driven architectures.
Exposure to GitOps frameworks (ArgoCD, Flux).
Experience with cost optimization strategies for AWS.
Prior experience in regulated industries (BFSI, Healthcare, Telecom) with compliance standards (SOC2, HIPAA, GDPR).
