Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Backend Developer to join our engineering team. You will help build and maintain server-side applications, APIs, and databases while collaborating with frontend developers to deliver robust and scalable solutions. This is a great opportunity to grow your skills and gain hands-on experience in backend development.
What you’ll be doing
Develop, maintain, and optimize server-side applications and APIs.
Work closely with frontend developers to ensure seamless integration of backend services.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.
Assist in designing and managing databases (SQL/NoSQL) for applications.
Debug, test, and resolve backend issues to ensure smooth performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
Stay updated on backend technologies, frameworks, and best practices.
Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
0–2 years of experience in backend development (internships/projects are welcome).
Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, Node.js, or PHP.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs, web services, and server-side frameworks.
Basic understanding of databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).
Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git/GitHub).
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Eagerness to learn new technologies and improve backend development skills.
Nice to Have (Preferred Skills)
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Understanding of microservices architecture.
Experience with unit testing and automated testing frameworks.
Familiarity with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
