Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain robust server-side applications and APIs. You will work closely with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to build scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems. You will also mentor junior developers and contribute to architectural decisions.
What you’ll be doing
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and APIs.
Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure seamless integration of backend services.
Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
Lead technical discussions, review code, and mentor junior backend developers.
Implement best practices for software architecture, database design, and version control.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex backend issues.
Stay updated on emerging technologies, frameworks, and backend trends.
Contribute to planning and decision-making for product and technical roadmaps.
Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
4–7 years of professional experience in backend development.
Strong proficiency in server-side programming languages (Python, Java, Node.js, PHP, etc.).
Experience with RESTful APIs, web services, and microservices architecture.
Advanced knowledge of databases (SQL, NoSQL) and database optimization.
Familiarity with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Strong problem-solving, debugging, and performance optimization skills.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Nice to Have (Preferred Skills)
Experience with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
Knowledge of message queues, caching, and distributed systems.
Exposure to serverless architecture.
Experience in high-traffic production systems.
