Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Backend Developer to join our engineering team. You will help build and maintain server-side applications, APIs, and databases while collaborating with frontend developers to deliver robust and scalable solutions. This is a great opportunity to grow your skills and gain hands-on experience in backend development.

What you’ll be doing

• Develop, maintain, and optimize server-side applications and APIs.
• Work closely with frontend developers to ensure seamless integration of backend services.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Assist in designing and managing databases (SQL/NoSQL) for applications.
• Debug, test, and resolve backend issues to ensure smooth performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Stay updated on backend technologies, frameworks, and best practices.

Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 0 to 2 years of experience in backend development (internships/projects are welcome).
• Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, Node.js, or PHP.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, web services, and server-side frameworks.
• Basic understanding of databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git/GitHub).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Eagerness to learn new technologies and improve backend development skills.

Nice to Have (Preferred Skills)

• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Understanding of microservices architecture.
• Experience with unit testing and automated testing frameworks.
• Familiarity with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
